What is a Play?
A.
A 'play' will be reported for a video each time the video is played by a viewer (including autoplays). A channel play will be reported the first time a video in the channel is played after the channel is set.
Example: A viewer opens a page where a channel is embedded. The player loads and begins to autoplay the first video in the channel. The viewer watches part of the video then selects a new video from the channel. The user then selects 'play' and scrubs ahead to the middle of the video.
- Channel Plays = 1
- Video Plays = 2

What is a Percent Watched Interval (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%)?
A.
A 'Percent Watched Interval' represents the number of plays as a relative amount of the total video duration. It is the percentage of the video watched by a viewer (ignoring portions of the video that are 're-watched' or scrubbed back to). For example, if a user watches 5 minutes (any 5 minutes) of a 20 minute video then a single 25% play result would occur.
Example: A user watches the first 10 minutes of a 20 minute video. The user then scrubs back to re-watch the first ten minutes. At the end of the 10 minutes the user stops watching.
- 25% Interval = 0
- 50% Interval = 1
- 75% Interval = 0
- 100% Interval = 0
